Problem Elimination Price Calculation Formula 2009-2011

The formula for calculating the cost of removal of stain, restoring the color or eliminating a burn mark is based on the size of the problem area measured in inches.

When referring to our "Work Order Form & Price List", you will notice that in the far left column, under each category of our services, there are rows which list range of measurements with the actual cost of each one directly to the right in the Price/Item column.

Under the Area/Location columns there are rows with "X" and then an empty space followed by "=$". The empty space is where the size of width of the problem area is entered. By this we mean if the width is up to one inch, we simply enter 1, and if its between 1 and 2 inches, then 2 is entered and if between 2 and 3 inches, 3 is entered in the empty space. However if the width of the problem area is larger than 3 inches, we still enter 3, meaning the maximum width we ever charge for any given stain or mark to remove/ eliminate, is 3 inches or 3 times the cost of that particular range. This is designed so for larger size problem areas the cost for our services will still make financial sense to our clients.

Example:

A typical Iron Mark on a carpet is measured to be 7 inches by 4 ½ inches. But the maximum we ever charge for the length of any Burn Mark Elimination is [6+ inch x 1 inch] which costs [$30.00]. Since we only charge the maximum of 3 inches wide for anygiven mark we multiply $30 by 3 and arrive at $90.00 for total cost of any Iron Mark elimination.

"Travel", "Minimum Visit" and other fees or charges:

There will be a $50 "Travel" and a minimum ofa $200.00 per visit fee (Total of $250). We work 7 days a week, so there will be no extra charges for weekends or after hours.

However for emergency calls, there will be an additional $250.00 on top and above the performed job and "Travel" fee.

Note: on invoices $1000 or more, all of the above fees will be waived.
